You survived the storms of your past. Now it’s time to choose your own shore.
The second half of life isn't about starting over. It’s the refusal to stay trapped in a performance of belonging that’s suffocating you, so you can finally embody your true identity, settle into your own skin, and be held by the life you’ve already lived.
This is what I call Making Landfall.
Hi, I'm Siobhan McAuley, creator of Making Landfall and writer at Between the Stars and Me. I'm 57. I've spent my life working as a dream guide, yoga teacher, and astrologer. Along the way, I’ve been a painter, a potter, a boatbuilder, and a tree planter.
I could tell you more about where I studied, who with, and when, but none of it actually describes the depth of who I know myself to be. Maybe you feel the same way about your own life. Maybe you’re at the exact threshold where your external success no longer matches your internal reality, and you’re ready to drop the mask so your legacy can accurately reflect who you truly are.
Making Landfall is the deliberate choice to stop running. It is the refusal to step into the boxes and labels society handed you, choosing instead to stand fully in the value of everything you've already lived. It's the shift from surviving the storm to finally dropping anchor and inhabiting the life you are actively choosing. Your landfall. Your truth.
I’m fiercely passionate about helping remarkably successful women take ownership of their life's experience, stepping out of their comfortable on the outside but miserable on the inside performance and into the reality of who they actually are. My superpower is calling bullshit on the lies we tell ourselves about where our credibility comes from. I believe we all know when we're lying to ourselves. What we want is a select environment where we feel safe enough to say it out loud, knowing we'll be witnessed for our courage to be truly honest, rather than judged for refusing to shrink just to make someone else more comfortable.
My Substack, Between the Stars and Me, is where I write for the woman in her fifties who has achieved it all outwardly, but still wakes up suffocating because she has hidden her true self in plain sight. It’s the best place to introduce yourself to my perspective and familiarize yourself with the process of making landfall.
The deep, transformational work, the lifelong community connections, and the container that anchors your nervous system while you find your land legs happen within my intimate, small group cohort—Landfall: A 9-Month Journey. Admission to this container is strictly by application and interview to protect the integrity and privacy of the room.
The cohort begins September 21, 2026. You can find the full program structure, pricing, and the private application process here.
The women I work with have stopped waiting for the storm to pass. They've taken the helm.
